Judith Fryer
Co-Chair, REITs
Greenberg Traurig LLP
New York City
Fryer focuses her practice on public and private offerings, mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and takeovers involving REITs and
partnerships. She is one of the few women
(and non-REIT executives) ever to serve on
the executive committee of the National
Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts.
“It’s essential that women in the real estate industry learn to
perfect their skills in developing business,” Fryer says. “Unlike
when I first joined NAREIT 20 years ago, when there were only
three women active in the organization, women are now playing
and will increasingly play major roles in the REIT industry.
Today we have great female role models who lead major public
REITs, and many other female professionals, including lawyers,
accountants and investment specialists.”
Alicia Glen
Managing Director
Goldman Sachs
New York City
A multifamily specialist, Glen recently closed a

investment with BRP Development to build
three developments in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
“The private sector can make sound investments that are critical
to the revitalization of underserved and often overlooked neighborhoods in our urban centers,” she says. “Being able to invest Goldman
Sachs’ capital in projects that have a positive social impact on the
built environment is the best career anyone could have.”
