Dean Holmes has been named chief operating officer of BPG Properties’ Madison
Apartment Group, the Philadelphia-based
firm’s multifamily operating arm. Prior to
that, Holmes was VP of property management for Realty Management Services Inc.
in Bethesda, MD.

International as the national manager of
retail research in Washington, DC. She pre-
viously served as director of research at

Steve Cippa returns to
the firm as an industrial broker and senior
vice president. He first joined the firm in
1999, and left in 2007 to run his own company as president.

LLP has added Fiona Kelly to its real estate
practice as a corporate
partner in its New York
City office. Experienced
in negotiating complex

transactions, Kelly will

joins the company from Clifford Chance
LLP in London, where she was a partner.

Michael Beattie became the new chief
investment officer for the San Francisco-based firm early this month. He will handle the newly combined investment and
portfolio management teams in Grosvenor
Americas’ four North American offices,
including overseeing the acquisition, disposition and management of assets. He
had been the firm’s chief portfolio officer
since June 2009.
HFF INC.
The firm has brought on Matt Mitchell as a
director in its multi-housing group in its
Tampa, FL office. He will focus on institu-tional-grade multi-housing transactions
throughout the southeastern United
States. Prior to joining HFF, he was a transactions director at Institutional Property
Advisors and JBM Group and an associate
director in the Investment Services Group
at Transwestern.
MCSHANE DEVELOPMENT CO.
Mark A. Saturno has joined the Rosemont,
IL-based development and investment firm
as chief operating officer. As such, he will
oversee the company’s operations, finances,
acquisition, leasing and
disposition activities,
including its regional
offices in Phoenix,
Austin, TX and Irvine,
CA. Most recently in
his 25-year career,
Saturno was Central
Region managing director for AMB
Property Corp.
NEW BOSTON FUND INC.
The Boston-based private equity real estate
investment, development and management
firm has shuffled around its executive
ranks. As the new president, Tim Medlock
will lead New Boston Fund’s day-to-day
operations and help to execute its business
plan and investment strategy across all
funds. Medlock previously served as chief
financial officer and chief operating officer.
Working with Medlock will be Jim Kelleher,
who will serve as chief investment officer
and chairman of the investment committee. Additionally, senior managers Gary
Hofstetter, head of the asset and property
management division, will serve as the new
Northeast regional director, and SVP of
portfolio strategy Mike Doherty will now be
chief financial officer.
STUDLEY
The tenant brokerage firm has elevated
William Silverman to the post of senior
managing director of its
New York City-based
Capital Transactions
Group. He was previously corporate managing director within the
group. Having joined
the firm in 2003,
Silverman has completed nearly $4 billion of sales totaling
some 15 million square feet.

The new senior vice president of brokerage
and client advisory services at UGL Services
is Gerard Picco, who will be based in
Manhattan. With 26 years of brokerage and
national portfolio management experience, Picco most recently served as an SVP
at CresaPartners.
