The new vice president of operations
for Equity Office
Properties in Boston
is Sandra Lally. She
will oversee all of the
Boston-based firm’s
property management and engineering teams. Lally joined Equity Office
14 years ago and most recently was vice
president of regional finance, where
she managed financial reporting and
the administration of the operating and

Bringing more than 30 years of experience with her, Janice E. Carpi has joined
the GRS Group’s title
services team in Los
Angeles. She will serve
as national underwriting counsel for title
services. For the past
25 years, Carpi has
been a senior member
of the underwriting
staff for Lawyers Title Insurance Corp.,
Commonwealth Land Title Insurance
Co., Fidelity National Title Insurance Co.
and Chicago Title Insurance Co. She’s
also been chair of the Title Insurance
Committee for the American Bar
Association’s Real Property, Probate and
Trust Section.

One-time competitors in the Southeast
commercial property market are now
coming together. After 15 years at the
company, the former chief executive
officer of Barry Real Estate Cos. has
moved over to join the executive team
at Greenstone Properties. Chris Schoen
will now serve as a co-principal of the
Atlanta-based firm with De Little, founder. He also brings with him Harvey Rudy,
a senior vice president with Barry Real
Estate.

Development veteran Stuart Gruendl
has joined the firm’s
Palo Alto, CA office as
managing director of
Southern California
development. He was
the founder and chief executive officer of

as a litigation associate in its Chicago
office. In her new position, she will focus

was a litigation associate at Locke Lord
Bissell & Liddell LLP.

He brings more than 10 years of lease
negotiations and property management
experience to Voit. Prior to joining Voit,
Hassett gained eight years of experience
as a senior leasing property manager with
RREEF/Deutsche Bank and Transwestern.
Through his career, he managed more
than two million square feet of office and
industrial properties; negotiated lease
contracts for new and existing tenants;
and prepared annual budgets and quarterly investment reports.
