Kevin M. Beaudry has joined Avison Young’s brokerage operations in Mississauga, ON as a principal and senior vice president. For the past six months, Beaudry worked with TrueNorth Real Estate Advisors here.

CBC SAUNDERS RALSTON DANTZLER Led by a trio of power brokers, Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Ralston Dantzler is Polk County’s newest commercial real estate brokerage. Gary Ralston built a reputation as a retail and commercial real estate authority in Central Florida. R. Todd Dantzler made a name for himself as a commercial property and land use expert in Polk County and Central Florida, and Dean Saunders is a former Florida legislator, focusing on land and conservation easement authority. The company will be based in Lakeland, FL.

EQUITY OFFICE PROPERTIES

The new vice president of operations for Equity Office Properties in Boston is Sandra Lally. She will oversee all of the Boston-based firm’s property management and engineering teams. Lally joined Equity Office 14 years ago and most recently was vice president of regional finance, where she managed financial reporting and the administration of the operating and Lally

capital budgets for the firm’s 12-million- plus-square-foot Boston portfolio.

Bringing more than 30 years of experience with her, Janice E. Carpi has joined the GRS Group’s title services team in Los Angeles. She will serve as national underwriting counsel for title services. For the past 25 years, Carpi has been a senior member of the underwriting staff for Lawyers Title Insurance Corp., Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Co., Fidelity National Title Insurance Co. and Chicago Title Insurance Co. She’s also been chair of the Title Insurance Committee for the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Section.

GREENSTONE PROPERTIES One-time competitors in the Southeast commercial property market are now coming together. After 15 years at the company, the former chief executive officer of Barry Real Estate Cos. has moved over to join the executive team at Greenstone Properties. Chris Schoen will now serve as a co-principal of the Atlanta-based firm with De Little, founder. He also brings with him Harvey Rudy, a senior vice president with Barry Real Estate.

PACIFIC URBAN RESIDENTIAL

Development veteran Stuart Gruendl has joined the firm’s Palo Alto, CA office as managing director of Southern California development. He was the founder and chief executive officer of Bay Rock Residential, a Bay Area multifamily developer, and has more than 25 years of experience in the industry.

estate law firm Pircher, Nichols & Meeks
as a litigation associate in its Chicago
office. In her new position, she will focus
on commercial real estate litigation,
including foreclosures and mechanic’s
lien claims. Prior to joining Pircher, Fox
was a litigation associate at Locke Lord
Bissell & Liddell LLP.

RETAIL GROUP OF AMERICA INC.

The Lenexa, KS-based Retail Group of America, owner of Strasburg Children stores, has hired Joanna Shawver as vice president of real estate. Formerly vice president of leasing with RED Development, Shawver will lead the company’s real estate expansion strategy in the US.

The tenant rep firm has promoted Daniel Posy to the position of corporate managing director of its New York City office. A specialist in boutique financial firms, media companies and law firms, Posy has helped consummate over 600,000 square feet of lease deals since joining Studley in 2003. He was previously a managing director.

TISHMAN CONSTRUCTION CORP. Tishman Construction Corp. has hired Gary Thalheimer as executive vice president of construction services for the Midwest. Based in Chicago, Thalheimer comes to Tishman from Walsh Construction Co.

VOIT REAL ESTATE SERVICES The newest senior property manager at the Irvine, CA-based firm is Eric Hassett. He brings more than 10 years of lease negotiations and property management experience to Voit. Prior to joining Voit, Hassett gained eight years of experience as a senior leasing property manager with RREEF/Deutsche Bank and Transwestern. Through his career, he managed more than two million square feet of office and industrial properties; negotiated lease contracts for new and existing tenants; and prepared annual budgets and quarterly investment reports.
