During his time in commercial real estate,
Kyle Miller has relied on service and integrity to develop an impressive client roster
and transaction history. His dedication was
recognized early on by Studley, which promoted him to managing director after one
year with the company, and to corporate managing director
after three years. In 2012, he closed over $185 million in shopping center transactions, including the $62-million sale of
Park Plaza in Los Angeles. Miller’s responsibilities include
oversight of Studley’s West Coast retail investment sales platform and team. During his off hours, Miller works with
Westcoast Sports Associates, a nonprofit that gives disadvantaged children in Southern California the opportunity to participate in organized sports.

Miramontes leads the valuation, marketing
and disposition of multifamily projects
throughout San Diego in addition to lead-
ing a team of four professionals that repre-
sents a wide range of clients including institutional and private
investors. The team also provides expert services including
asset consultation, financial evaluation, contract reviews and
deal-point negotiations. Miramontes has completed more than
$970 million worth of transactions in California and Nevada,
resulting in the sale of more than 9,100 units. The daughter of
successful multifamily broker Diane Miramontes and part of
her team at JLL, Darcy wanted to follow in her mother’s foot-
steps and saw the satisfaction that could come from this line of
work. Miramontes has won several industry awards and honors
and is actively involved with the SD Commercial Realtors
Association.
AMIT PATEL, 33

A key player on the acquisitions team of
Passco’s multifamily division, Amit Patel is a
skilled underwriter and performs strict due
diligence on properties Passco looks to
acquire. He has extensive experience in
designing the models used to show the comparison in the various markets, and he visits each property as
part of his due diligence to ensure it is a viable property to add
to our portfolio. Over the past two-and-a-half years, Patel
closed more than $150 million in multifamily transactions and
helped Passco acquire over 1,600 units. The average real estate
transaction was $20 million, with an average 240 units per
property. Patel is currently working on an acquisition that
could prove to be the largest transaction Passco has seen since
the company began back in 1998. Following his parents into
real estate, Patel is said to be a natural born leader.
