Northstar Owners Representation
As one of Northstar’s three principals and
practice leader for its not-for-profit division, Northstar Museums and Education,
Harvey becomes embedded in the mission
of every client for whom she works. She’s
represented owners of more than two million square feet of charter school space
and numerous museum projects. While these professional accomplishments alone are impressive, she’s just as active outside of the
office. Harvey is an active volunteer and mentor for such organizations as the American Council on Education, and is particularly
committed to Our Little Roses, a school and orphanage for
homeless and poverty-stricken girls in Honduras.
New York City
With more than 30 years of experience,
Heryet is one of the most recognized and
successful CRE brokers in New York City.
In 1998, she was the Young Men’s/
Women’s Real Estate Association New
York’s Young Real Estate Woman of the
Year. Two years later, she was honored as
one of the Women Real Estate Leaders of the 21st Century. A
top performer for decades, Heryet has represented both tenants
and landlords in the leasing and strategic planning of more
than 25 million square feet of commercial deals throughout the
city. To those looking to emulate her success, she advises, “be
yourself and always adhere to a code of practicing good business
ethics in everything you do.”
Partner and Group Leader, Atlanta
Real Estate Practice
An attorney with deep Georgia roots,
Hicks’ passion for urban planning has
shone through her work with high-profile
transit-oriented, mixed-use developments.
Among her latest tasks was serving as lead
counsel for the Atlanta Braves in connection with the development of their new MLB home stadium, Sun
Trust Park. She managed this complex multi-party project, which
combined a stadium with a related entertainment district featuring hotels, restaurants and retail establishments; and collaborated with the Georgia Department of Transportation, Cobb
County and other local authorities on stadium infrastructure.
Her efforts caught the eye of the Texas Rangers, which sought her
out for the development of a new $1-billion, retractable-roof ballpark and adjacent mixed-use development. The new stadium is
scheduled to be completed before opening day in April 2020.
