CEO and Co-Founder
Realty Mogul LLC
The youngest of seven children in a long
line of entrepreneurs, it’s no surprise that
Jilliene Helman grew up to be a pioneer.
When the JOBS Act passed in April 2012,
Helman wanted to seize on this mix of
regulatory opportunity and advancing
technology to make the real estate market more accessible to
more people. She and her co-founder, Justin Hughes, recog-
nized that the moment was right to develop a platform for indi-
vidual investors to access real estate markets online and, in
2013, RealtyMogul.com was born. To date, RealtyMogul.com
has raised more $45 million in venture capital to operate the
business. The company has also reached $55 million in distribu-
tions of principal and returns to its investors.
President and CFO
Rachel Howitt’s notable 35-year career
gained her wide-ranging experience in
metallurgical engineering, finance and
business development. She draws on this
expertise to oversee all financial and
administrative matters relating to NAI
Capital. With more than 26 years of experience leading the company, Howitt is also responsible for exploring strategic alliances to
enhance the depth and scope of the services NAI Capital provides
to its clients, including strategizing on company expansion plans.
She advises young women entering the field today to be open to
new avenues of conducting business, incorporating them with the
tried-and-true methods established over time. Her message is to
become familiar with all the tools and resources available to them
and incorporating these into one’s daily work.
