A 32-year brokerage industry veteran, Jodi
Meade is one of the nation’s foremost automotive properties experts. Few in the industry can match her depth and breadth of
knowledge of automotive properties.
Thirteen years ago, in an entrepreneurial
move to fill a void she identified in the market—both nationally and
internationally—Meade founded and launched the Automotive
Properties Group at CBRE. Since that time, the group created a
deeply defined niche and grew exponentially as a result. Meade has
led more than $1 billion in automotive commercial real estate transactions. Three years ago, she brought the APG to Avison Young,
where the firm’s entrepreneurial platform has presented a growing
number of new opportunities.

Tracy Murphy was appointed executive
vice president at Kilroy Realty in May
2016 and is responsible for its life-science
activities along the West Coast, including
three of the top four US life-science mar-
kets. The company has some three million square feet of life-
science properties either stabilized or in development, and
Murphy leads the leasing, development and positioning for
these assets. She also works to identify and pursue develop-
ment and acquisition opportunities in the San Diego, Los
Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle markets. Murphy joined
Kilroy after eight years at BioMed Realty, where as Western US
senior vice president she served on the executive committee
and spearheaded the strategic objectives for a 10-million-

Janet Neman is a broker whom everyone
