PAUL M. SILL
Working in the corporate real estate
world in the 1990s, Paul Sill quickly realized that many traditional vendor
approaches to real estate analysis fell
short. And so he launched Forum
Analytics, a provider of real estate analytics that includes forecasting models
driven by algorithms and a user interface that displays to end users only what
they need to see to make informed real
estate decisions. Sill’s approach has
changed the way retailers look at customer capture areas.
Within 13 years of it launch, Forum had developed a formidable
reputation and was attracting the attention of numerous suitors.
CBRE acquired the firm in November 2015 and Sill has been leading
the post-acquisition day-to-day operations and integration of Forum
Analytics into the broader CBRE global advisory services platform.
Today, Sill is senior managing director and global retail analytics practice leader with CBRE | Forum Analytics. He is a subject
matter expert in location intelligence and geographic information systems and oversees retail predictive analytics within CBRE’s
Advisory Services. He also provides thought leadership on retail
site selection, sales forecasting and disposition analysis.
Under CBRE’s umbrella, Sill has expanded Forum Analytics to
international service beyond Canada with projects for Domino’s,
Ace Hardware and PANDORA. Today, Forum Analytics leads the
Advisory Group in revenues.
