By completely overhauling and revitalizing RCLCO Real Estate Advisors’ brand, exposure and client engagement efforts, its new marketing and sales team has elevated the firm’s position within the real estate sector. This in turn has led to an increase in insights and data
analysis for developers, investors, the public sector and non-real estate organizations.
Specific responsibilities for the team include managing the marketing budget, planning annual educational industry events, coordinating speaking positions at outside conferences, performing direct sales efforts, exhibiting at industry trade shows, managing all advertising
campaigns, website creation and maintenance, overseeing the firm’s CRM system and creating marketing content including managing
research reports, producing the firm’s podcast series and client engagement via email campaigns and social media.
Although RCLCO as a firm is more than 50 years old, the company created the marketing and sales team in 2016. With the addition
of a new department focused on branding and business development initiatives, the firm has grown annually, with this past year at its most
profitable yet. The team was not hired all at once, but has expanded exponentially during the past three years.
Diana Black oversees all marketing strategic initiatives and team management. Joshua Boren oversees all direct business development
efforts. Daniel Kagan oversees client deliverable production and graphics creation, while supporting all marketing campaign creation.
Joseph Seong manages all RFP pursuits and supports marketing initiatives. Patrick Gathron supports the team as a whole and specifically
manages all data for the CRM system.

Sealy & Co. has corporate offices in Dallas, TX
and Shreveport, LA, and regional offices in
Atlanta, Houston and New Orleans. The
Shreveport office houses a full-service brokerage
firm, employing 12 brokers to facilitate the sale
and lease of third-party listings. It is the team’s duty to fulfill the marketing requests of each branch of the company from the
The challenge for the team has been navigating the timelessness of Sealy & Co.’s investment strategy with the revolutionary concepts of modern branding, marketing and public relations–and doing so with a team of three. The team successfully tells the firm’s
story of a well-established investment management and brokerage firm that represents roughly 300 third-party listings and owns,
manages and markets 338 buildings in its investment portfolio.
Additionally, Sealy & Co.’s website, Sealynet.com, was a major accomplishment to date and is still managed and edited regularly
by the marketing team. The company has also heavily invested in new software to increase efficiency and help standardize the
brand across all regional offices. The team has been able to enhance brand consistency and quickly produce high-quality marketing materials.
