Patrick McGlohn has been a leading originator across a variety of product types for 15
years. At PGIM REF, McGlohn oversees direct
loan originations and the sourcing of CRE
loans nationally using the firm’s debt and
equity programs, including Freddie Mac,
Fannie Mae, balance sheet lending and FHA, as well as its balance
sheet/bridge loan programs, while managing a team of analysts and
underwriters who support those efforts. Dedicated to advancing
himself and others, McGlohn completed the MBA’s Young Leaders
program and is part of the NMHC’s Emerging Leaders group, and
serves as a mentor at PGIM REF and Virginia Tech’s Real Estate
Industrial Advisory Board, of which he is a founding member.
CLARKE A. MICHALAK, 34
PGIM Real Estate
Working for PGIM Real Estate throughout
his career, Clarke Michalak has served in
four diverse roles across three offices. He
started out in asset management before moving to the firm’s flagship US core equity real
estate fund, where he assumed responsibility
for a $1.7-billion portfolio of hotel, storage, office and retail assets.
He then joined the West Coast acquisitions group, covering the
Orange County, San Diego and Inland Empire markets; over three
years the team handled $1.3 billion of transactions. Now a VP and
member of PGIM Real Estate’s flagship US value-add equity fund
team, he handles asset management of the Fund’s West Coast portfolio across many product types. Michalak also serves as program
lead for the firm’s corporate social responsibility initiative with
YouthBuild USA and YouthBuild International, was a member of
the PGIM Real Estate Leadership & Inclusion Network and was a
founding co-head of the Salvation Army Junior Board of Chicago.
MATTHEW MOUSAVI, 33
SRS Real Estate Partners
Soon after joining SRS Real Estate Partners,
one of the largest retail-only brokerage firms
in North America, Matthew Mousavi observed
a high demand for retail investments, particularly net-leased assets. To help meet the need,
he co-founded the SRS National Net Lease
Group and SRS Investment Sales Property Sales Group. Since
launching in 2016, the latter group has grown from two individuals
to 40-plus sales brokers and staff throughout the US. To date this
year, Mousavi’s team sold more than 134 properties worth $567 million, with over 60 properties under contract. Another $600 million is
on the market, comprised of more than 150 assets in 37 states.
Outside of SRS, he sits on the Advisory Board for the Center for Real
Estate at the University of California, Irvine, his alma mater.
