Black Creek Group has been an industrial player for more than 25 years, having acquired and developed$16 billion in industrial assets throughout North America. As an owner and operator of its real estate, BlackCreek Group excels at acquisitions, asset management and leasing, and is an expert in value-add and development. Last year alone, Black Creek Group acquired 10 million square feet of industrial space, doublingits 2018 volume. In January, the firmsold real estate assets owned by its sponsored fund Industrial Property Trust to an affiliate of Prologis in a $4billion deal. Since its launch in 2010, Chicago-based Clear Height Properties has completed $250 million in acquisitions. Its current portfolio totals 33 properties and 2.5 million square feet with more than 300 tenants. Clear Height Properties quick success is theresult of its acquisition strategy, which focuses on small and mid-sized industrial flex assets with a value-add component in theGreater Chicago Metro area. Or, as the firm describes, it is “building a portfolio of assets that others haven’t wanted to own,but that tenants want to lease.”
