CASEY
PETERSEN, 31
Vice President
Peak Campus
Management
Atlanta
Petersen has risen up
the ranks at student
housing specialist Peak
over the past six years, ascending from
regional manager to vice president in just
six years. Though he’s the firm’s youngest
executive, he’s overseeing all business
growth efforts—and his youth is clearly not
interfering. Peak credits him with growing
total assets under management from $850
million to $1.8 billion between January
2012 and July 2013, with expanding the
company’s portfolio from 45 to 57 proper-
ties, and and with increasing stabilized fee
revenue by 75% between January 2012 and
July 2013. In addition, he has more than
doubled the company’s client base from
eight unique owner clients to 19. He’s won
accolades internally and also gotten recog-
nized by the National Multi Housing
Council, which named him this year to its
40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders Forum.
